AFWERX selects Nano Nuclear for Air Force contract
Shares of nuclear technology company Nano Nuclear Energy NNE.O jump about 10% to $17.08 after the company is selected by AFWERX — the innovation and technology incubator of the U.S. Air Force — for a Small Business Innovation Research Phase I contract focused on its KRONOS MMR Energy System.
Work under the contract started July 21 to support future deployment across additional Air Force installations and the broader Department of War.
