Nano Nuclear signs deal to buy NRC-licensed US nuclear fuel processing assets for $13.5 million
NNE•Nano Nuclear agreed to buy NRC-licensed U.S. nuclear fuel processing assets from Radnostix for $13.5 million: $9.5 million in cash and $4 million in common stock at closing. Closing is targeted in 90 to 120 days, subject to NRC consent for the license transfer and other approvals.
1. Deal terms
The assets include an NRC license tied to a planned DUF6 deconversion and fluorine extraction facility in Lea County, New Mexico. The transaction would give Nano Nuclear control of one of 10 NRC-licensed fuel cycle facilities in the United States.
