NBTX•Nanobiotix reported a 41.7% response rate in a Phase 1 trial of NBTXR3 with radiotherapy and immune checkpoint therapy in 24 heavily pretreated patients with anti-PD-1-resistant advanced cutaneous melanoma.
The single-arm Phase 1 trial combined a single tumor injection of NBTXR3 with radiotherapy and subsequent immune checkpoint therapy. Responses occurred in injected and non-injected lesions, and the regimen showed an acceptable safety profile with no new safety signals. The preliminary results were presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology meeting in Madrid on October 24, 2026; the findings support further evaluation in larger randomized trials.
