Natera, Alliance Foundation Trials launch Phase III NAVIGATE breast cancer study
NTRA•Natera, Alliance Foundation Trials and Genentech launched the global Phase III NAVIGATE study, which will test Signatera-guided use of CDK4/6 inhibitors in breast cancer treatment. The study aims to enroll more than 2,000 patients at roughly 200 sites.
1. Study design
NAVIGATE will enroll patients with stage II-III ER-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Giredestrant will serve as the endocrine backbone, with a CDK4/6 inhibitor added only if Signatera detects residual disease; the study will test whether this approach can limit inhibitor use while maintaining recurrence outcomes.
