Natera study links Signatera ctDNA clearance to longer survival across four metastatic cancers
NTRA•A real-world analysis of 424 patients receiving first-line immunotherapy found that patients with two consecutive negative Signatera tests had better long-term survival across four metastatic cancer types. Among these molecular responders, early treatment stopping showed no significant survival difference from continuing immunotherapy.
1. Study findings
Natera will present the results at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer meeting, Nov. 4-8 in Phoenix. The analysis found that patients with two consecutive negative Signatera tests had better long-term survival than other patients; among those molecular responders, stopping immunotherapy early showed no significant survival difference compared with continuing treatment. The findings support further investigation of Signatera to identify patients who may safely stop immunotherapy early.
