Natural gas flows to Cheniere, Freeport LNG plants fall
LNG•Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass facility pulled 3.6 billion cubic feet of gas on Monday, down from nearly 5 billion, while Freeport LNG pulled under 1 billion; total U.S. LNG plant demand was 18.4 billion cubic feet.
1. Plant deliveries decline
Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass export facility was pulling 3.6 billion cubic feet of gas on Monday, down from a peak of nearly 5 billion. The decline suggests at least two of its six trains could be offline.
2. Freeport and total demand
Freeport LNG was pulling under 1 billion cubic feet, suggesting at least one of its three trains is down. Gas demand from U.S. LNG plants fell to 18.4 billion cubic feet on Monday, after averaging over 19 billion last week.
