Natural Health Trends posted a net loss of $448,000, swinging from net income of $11,000 a year earlier, as net sales fell 23% to $7.6 million.
Operating loss widened to $638,000 from $334,000, while gross margin rose 1.3 percentage points to 75.2%.
Regional sales and operations
Hong Kong net sales dropped 21% to $6.3 million, on continued negative consumer sentiment, China regulatory uncertainty, and disruptions from certain independent member activities.
Management said it is transitioning some production from the U.S. to East Asia to reduce tariff uncertainty and streamline logistics.
