Naver partnered with Brookfield and NVIDIA to expand Korea’s sovereign AI factory buildout at its GAK Sejong hyperscale data center.
- Planned capacity rose to 200 megawatts from 55 megawatts, using NVIDIA’s DSX platform.
- Brookfield will fund up to $9 billion as exclusive capital partner; NVIDIA will invest $1 billion; Naver will fund the balance of a $10 billion project.
- The infrastructure is intended to provide production-scale AI compute for Korea- and U.S.-based developers building models, agents and AI services.
- The expansion will deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms and extends open-model work tied to HyperCLOVA X and NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Ultra.
