NAVER to Expand AI Factories from 55MW to Gigawatt Scale with NVIDIA DSX
NVDA•NAVER will build AI factories on NVIDIA’s DSX platform starting at 55 megawatts and scaling to gigawatt capacity to serve enterprises, industries and governments. The deployment will leverage NVIDIA’s full-stack AI infrastructure and software to advance HyperCLOVA X models, Seoul World Model development and agentic AI services.
1. Partnership Details
NAVER and NVIDIA have agreed to build AI factories using the NVIDIA DSX platform, with an initial 55-megawatt deployment at NAVER’s GAK Sejong data center. NAVER plans to expand capacity to gigawatt scale over time, targeting enterprise, industrial and government clients in Korea and international markets.
2. DSX Platform Features
The NVIDIA DSX end-to-end AI factory architecture integrates accelerated computing, systems, software and facility design to minimize token cost and maximize performance per megawatt through DSX MaxLPS and DSX OS. This stack enables rapid prototyping, deployment and lifecycle management of large-scale AI workloads.
3. Strategic Impact
The collaboration supports NAVER’s HyperCLOVA X and Seoul World Model initiatives, reinforcing sovereign AI capabilities and agentic AI platforms. Broad DSX adoption in Korea positions NVIDIA to capture growing demand for next-generation AI infrastructure as global AI factory buildouts accelerate.
