Nayax and Tritium Partner to Enable Cashless Payments on 21,000 DC Fast Chargers
Nayax has partnered with Tritium to integrate its card-present payment solution onto Tritium's network of 21,000 DC fast chargers in over 50 countries, enabling retrofit installation and cashless payments within minutes via cloud-based protocols. The system supports session monitoring, tap-to-charge and custom eReceipts through Nayax’s or 30 integrated CPMS platforms.
1. Global Partnership Overview
Nayax has entered a global partnership with Tritium, a leading DC fast charger OEM, to deploy Nayax’s card-present payment terminals across Tritium’s network of more than 21,000 chargers in over 50 countries. This collaboration enables Tritium to retrofit existing stations with cashless payment capabilities in minutes.
2. Technical Integration and Deployment
Integration leverages cloud-based protocols to connect Nayax devices with existing Tritium chargers, and a purpose-built bracket simplifies hardware installation. Operators can choose Nayax’s Charge Point Management Software or any of 30 pre-integrated CPMS providers to manage sessions, receive real-time status updates, and issue customized eReceipts.
3. Market and Strategic Impact
By adding tap-to-charge credit and debit card payments, the partnership addresses consumer preferences and lowers adoption barriers, supporting Nayax’s strategy to expand its EV payments business. Tritium customers gain greater flexibility in payment options, positioning both companies to capitalize on accelerating EV charging demand worldwide.
