Nebius commits £1.7 billion to expand UK AI compute with 65 MW four-site GPU buildout
NBIS•Nebius is investing £1.7 billion to deploy three new NVIDIA GPU AI clusters, expanding its UK footprint to four sites and targeting 65 MW of compute capacity by 2027. The buildout supports production workloads for clients such as Revolut’s AI-driven FinCrime agents and chat orchestrator.
1. Investment and Infrastructure Expansion
Nebius is investing £1.7 billion to deploy three additional NVIDIA GPU clusters across four UK sites. Once operational in 2027, the combined facilities will deliver 65 MW of AI compute capacity, expanding its footprint beyond the November 2025 Blackwell Ultra launch.
2. Production Workloads for Revolut and Others
The new infrastructure will support enterprise use cases, with Revolut rebuilding its AI stack for real-time FinCrime prevention and handling over one million support tickets monthly. Nebius has secured at least two UK customers running production workloads on its platform.
3. Government Alignment and Talent Expansion
The buildout aligns with the UK Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan and aims to bolster domestic compute availability for businesses, researchers and public services. Nebius is also expanding its London hub with R&D hires and partnerships through Nebius Academy, signaling long-term commitment to the UK market.
