Nebius to Deploy 328 MW Bloom Energy Fuel Cells for AI Infrastructure

NBISNBIS

Nebius will install 328 MW of Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel cells to power its AI cloud infrastructure this year, eliminating the need for gas turbines. The modular system offers fast deployment, behind-the-meter electricity, high efficiency and low emissions to support extreme AI workload demands.

1. Partnership Overview

Nebius has agreed to integrate Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel cell systems to power its AI cloud offerings, leveraging behind-the-meter installations to meet growing electricity demands for model training and inference.

2. Initial 328 MW Deployment

The first deployment will deliver 328 megawatts of on-site power capacity by year-end, eliminating reliance on traditional gas turbines and accelerating time-to-power for Nebius and its customers.

3. Technology Benefits

Bloom’s fuel cells produce electricity without combustion, offering fast site commissioning, high efficiency, low emissions and minimal water usage, while facing lighter permitting requirements.

4. Global Scale Potential

Nebius aims to expand its AI compute footprint across the US and EMEA, with the Bloom Energy partnership forming the foundation for future global infrastructure build-outs.
