Nektar Therapeutics falls on quarterly revenue miss

Nektar said its lead experimental drug, rezpegaldesleukin, is in late-stage development for the treatment of atopic dermatitis, a type of skin disease.
The company also said it has a cash runway that extends into Q3 2028.
Up to the last close, the stock was up 79.6% year to date.
Shares fall after revenue comes in below estimates
Shares of drug developer Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR.O) were down 3.6% at $73.20 in premarket trading after the company reported quarterly revenue below analyst expectations.
The company reported second-quarter revenue of $10.1 million, compared with $11.2 million a year earlier. Analysts, on average, had expected $10.4 million, according to LSEG data.
