NeOnc reports early improvement in child receiving NEO100 under compassionate use
NTHI•NeOnc reported early clinical improvement in a three-year-old boy with an aggressive brain tumor who received investigational intranasal NEO100 under compassionate use in Abu Dhabi. He is breathing without ventilator support and beginning to move his legs, but the single-patient observations do not establish treatment benefit.
1. Early clinical improvement
NeOnc said its first child treated with investigational intranasal NEO100 under compassionate use in Abu Dhabi is showing early clinical improvement. The critically ill three-year-old boy with an aggressive brain tumor is breathing without ventilator support and beginning to move his legs. The treatment took place outside the NEO100-03 pediatric trial because he did not meet eligibility criteria; pediatric safety and efficacy remain unproven.
