NESR signs up to $200 million lithium project agreement with Aramco
NESR•NESR signed an agreement with Aramco for a lithium demonstration project in Saudi Arabia, with a contract value of up to about $200 million over five years. The project targets annual production of 2,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate, with commissioning and production planned for late 2027.

NESR’s turnkey scope covers pre-treatment, direct lithium extraction and carbonation using its LiThara platform. The Aramco 2027 Lithium Demonstration Project targets 2,000 tons a year of battery-grade lithium carbonate, with commissioning and production planned for late 2027.
