Netcapital director Avi Liss resigned Aug. 27, stepping down from the board and its committees amid SEC civil allegations.
Liss said he had no knowledge of, involvement in, or financial benefit from the conduct alleged in the case.
Cesar Herrera was elected to the board Aug. 30 to fill the vacancy.
Herrera joins audit and compensation committees
Herrera, CEO and a director of KRTL Holding Group since December 2021, also holds a California real estate broker license.
Herrera joined the audit committee; he also joined the compensation committee.
