NetSecOps deployments rise 37% year over year, Viavi study finds

The study found that completed network-security integration deployments rose to 37% of organizations in 2026 from 27% in 2025. Overall, 82% had completed or begun integrating network and security operations, while around one-fifth still lacked a defined strategy.
2. Reported benefits
Among organizations that completed integration, 44% cited enhanced security and 30% reported faster issue detection. Of respondents conducting structured testing, 52% reported fewer outages and service disruptions, while 44% saw fewer or less severe security incidents.
