On Feb 3, Netskope introduced Netskope One Data Lineage, a new capability integrated within the Netskope One platform that traces data as it rests, moves and is used. This feature fills a gap in data governance by offering end-to-end visibility into data provenance and transformation.
2. Tracking and Security Capabilities
Data Lineage tracks the lifecycle of sensitive information across files, formats and users, enabling security teams to visualize data movement, detect insider threats and establish intent during incidents. The tool correlates activity across cloud, email, collaboration and on-premises environments where legacy DLP solutions fall short.
