New Era Energy Signs LOI for 54 Acres to Boost TCDC’s 1+GW Power Corridor

NUAINUAI

New Era Energy & Digital signed a non-binding LOI to buy 54 acres adjacent to its TCDC campus in Ector County, Texas to advance lease talks. Land clearing, pipeline removal and soil sampling will optimize the corridor for direct power delivery and interconnection as TCDC scales toward 1+ GW.

1. LOI for 54-Acre Acquisition

New Era Energy & Digital has entered a non-binding Letter of Intent to acquire approximately 54 acres of land immediately adjacent to its existing Texas Critical Data Centers campus in Ector County, Texas. This land is being sought as part of ongoing lease negotiations with a leading hyperscale tenant and represents a key milestone in securing the campus footprint.

2. Site Preparation Activities

The company has initiated preliminary site work including land clearing, removal of out-of-service and abandoned pipeline infrastructure, relocation of active lines and subsurface soil sampling to support civil engineering design. These steps are intended to optimize the developable corridor and maximize usable acreage for future data center deployment.

3. Power Corridor and Interconnection

By consolidating this corridor between major power generation assets and the TCDC campus, New Era aims to enhance its ability to structure direct power offtake arrangements, negotiate efficient interconnection designs and reduce exposure to grid congestion. The expanded corridor is expected to support the campus’ long-term scalability toward over 1 gigawatt of integrated power capacity while improving redundancy, reliability and expansion flexibility.
