New Found Gold extends Dropkick Zone to 1.4 km with 24.8 g/t gold intercept

NFGCNFGC

New Found Gold’s 2025 Dropkick drilling hit 24.8 g/t Au over 14m and 13.4 g/t over 8.1m, extending mineralization to a 1.4 km strike and 300 m depth. Drilling east of the fault yielded 6.75 g/t Au over 18.35m and will be included in a H2/2026 resource update.

1. Drill Results and Highlights

New Found Gold’s 2025 exploration at the Dropkick Zone yielded multiple high-grade intercepts: 24.8 g/t Au over 14.0m and 13.4 g/t Au over 8.1m west of the Appleton Fault, plus 6.75 g/t Au over 18.35m east of the fault and 1.25 g/t over 10.6m in infill holes.

2. Zone Expansion

Step-out drilling extended the Dropkick Zone over a 1.4 km strike and from surface to 300 m depth, with the high-grade domain showing excellent continuity west of the core fault and remaining open both along strike and at depth.

3. Resource Update Plans

All 2024 and 2025 drilling results will feed into a mineral resource estimate update planned for H2/2026, with further Dropkick drilling scheduled later this year to test extensions and refine the high-grade domain ahead of resource modelling.
