New York Times added 280,000 net digital-only subscribers in the second quarter, compared with analysts' average estimate of 295,300, according to data compiled by Visible Alpha.
However, the company posted second-quarter revenue of $762.5 million, beating estimates of $751.97 million; adjusted EPS of 69 cents was above estimates of 67 cents, according to LSEG data.
Seven out of 12 analysts rate the stock "buy" or higher, while five rate it "hold"; the median price target is $82, according to data compiled by LSEG.
