Chief operating officer to leave in August

NewAmsterdam Pharma said Chief Operating Officer Douglas Kling will resign effective Aug. 14, 2026.
Kling is leaving to become chief executive officer of another clinical-stage biotech company.
A separation agreement is expected.
An advisor agreement is also expected for transition support on the PREVAIL trial of obicetrapib and other programs.
