NewHydrogen, UCSB file third provisional patent for ThermoLoop hydrogen process

NewHydrogen filed a third provisional patent application with UC Santa Barbara for its ThermoLoop clean hydrogen production technology.
The filing, titled “Hydrogen Production in Isothermal Chemical Looping Cycle,” covers process improvements plus new materials identified by the UCSB team.
Engineering test unit under development
The company is building an engineering test unit to generate data for designing its first commercial pilot plant.
