NewtekOne exchanges $24 million of senior notes for new 8.125% notes due 2029
NEWT•NewtekOne exchanged $24 million of 8.13% senior notes due 2027 for new senior notes due February 1, 2029. The remaining $26 million of notes is expected to be repaid at maturity on February 1, 2027.
1. Notes exchange
NewtekOne entered into agreements on October 19, 2026, to exchange $24 million of its 8.13% Senior Notes due 2027 for new Fixed Rate Senior Notes. The exchange became effective October 20, 2026. The new notes mature February 1, 2029, carry an 8.13% annual interest rate and are payable quarterly beginning November 1, 2026.
2. Remaining notes
NewtekOne expects to repay the remaining $26 million of Senior Notes outstanding at maturity on February 1, 2027.
