Q2 revenue grows on new Biomaterial sales
NexGel posted Q2 revenue of $3.69 million, up 27.8% year over year, driven by $814,000 of new Biomaterial product sales.
Gross profit fell to $1.11 million from a year earlier; gross margin dropped 13.5 percentage points to 30.1%.
Expenses rise and half-year results remain mixed
Selling, general and administrative expenses jumped to $3.59 million, up 89.8%, on BioNX Surgical buildout costs and Celularity license amortization.
For the first half, revenue rose 11.4% to $6.34 million, while gross margin slid 8.8 percentage points to 34.2%.
