NexGen Posts Record 74.8% U₃O₈ Assay at Patterson Corridor East

NXENXE

NexGen Energy reported its highest-grade Patterson Corridor East assay to date, with drill hole RK-25-256 intersecting 5.5 m at 21.4% U₃O₈, including 2.5 m at 46.1% and 0.5 m at 74.8%, located 119 m down-dip of RK-25-232 along at least 215 m of dip extent. The company controls over 190,000 ha in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin and is advancing its Rook I Project toward production.

1. Significant Expansion of High-Grade Subdomain at Patterson Corridor East

NexGen’s latest assay and scintillometer results confirm a 23% increase in the vertical extent of the primary high-grade subdomain at Patterson Corridor East, growing from 335 m to 412 m, with a strike length of 210 m. The overall mineralized footprint has also expanded to 700 m in vertical extent (from 600 m) and to 620 m in strike length (from 600 m), remaining open along multiple vectors. Notably, hole RK-25-271, located 65 m down-dip of a previously reported intersection, delivered 5.8 m of cumulative high-grade readings over 10,000 cps, including 0.8 m of off-scale (>61,000 cps) mineralization in competent basement rock. These results build on the final holes of the 2025 program, which totaled 35,366.2 m—the largest drilling effort in the Athabasca Basin last year—and bring the cumulative drilling at PCE since discovery to over 69,000 m in 102 holes, 67 of which encountered mineralization.

2. Commencement of Record 2026 Exploration Program

NexGen has initiated its largest ever drilling campaign at Patterson Corridor East with a planned 42,000 m of diamond drilling to target both growth of existing high-grade subdomains and further expansion of the mineralized footprint. The program includes at least eight step-out holes spaced 200 m apart to test for repeat basement-hosted mineralization approximately 600 m southeast of the current discovery. In tandem, the Company will undertake 3,500 m of inaugural drilling on its 100%-owned SW3 property to advance high-priority, greenfield targets identified by recent geophysical surveys. This dual-track approach leverages compelling 2025 results and positions NexGen to accelerate delineation of new high-grade domains and regional discoveries across its southwest Athabasca Basin land package.
