NexMetals Hits 11.15m Massive Sulphides, Expanding Flexure Zone
NEXM•NexMetals intersected 11.15 metres of massive sulphides in hole SMD-26-212-W1 as part of its 30,000-metre Flexure Zone drilling at Selebi Main, extending mineralization beyond the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate. Drill holes spaced 200–300 metres apart demonstrate lateral continuity and underpin expectations for a larger updated resource in H2 2026.
1. Drill Program and Scope
NexMetals is executing a 30,000-metre surface drilling program at the Selebi Main deposit in Botswana, focusing on the high-amplitude BHEM anomalies that define the emerging Flexure Zone. To date, 23,965 metres have been completed across 11 holes, with two holes in progress and assays pending for recent visual results.
2. SMD-26-212-W1 Key Intersection
Drill hole SMD-26-212-W1 intersected an 11.15-metre interval of massive sulphides starting at 1,520.10 metres downhole, followed by 4.45 metres of semi-massive to net-textured sulphides and 18.3 metres of disseminated sulphides. This broad sulphide package highlights a robust mineralized system that extends beyond existing resource boundaries.
3. Flexure Zone Expansion
Holes defining the Flexure Zone are spaced 200–300 metres apart, demonstrating thick, continuous sulphide mineralization outside the 2024 Mineral Resource Estimate. The consistency of massive, semi-massive and disseminated sulphides over broad spacing underscores strong lateral continuity and growth potential for the Selebi system.
4. Updated Resource Estimate Timeline
NexMetals expects to complete an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the second half of 2026, incorporating assays from all 2026 drill holes. Management notes that the ongoing drill results and BHEM targeting reinforce the scale of the system and support a materially larger resource base.
