Nexstar Chief Technology and Digital Officer Brett Jenkins retires Oct. 1, shifts to executive advisor
NXST•Jenkins to retire from full-time role and become executive advisor
Nexstar Media Group said EVP, chief technology and digital officer Brett Jenkins will retire from full-time work effective Oct. 1.
Jenkins will shift to executive advisor, providing counsel to CEO Perry Sook and COO Michael Biard while overseeing special projects.
He joined Nexstar as chief technology officer in 2017 following its acquisition of Media General.
Before Nexstar, Jenkins served as Media General’s vice president and chief technology officer from 2014 to 2017.
He will remain involved with Edgebeam Wireless, a wireless data services venture launched in 2025 by Nexstar and other broadcasters.
