NextTrip appointed Brad Buice, a 30-year travel tech veteran with Trisept, Apple Leisure and Hyatt experience, as CTO to advance its NXT2.0 engine with Agentic AI across its JOURNY platform. It added four media sales executives to expand FAST and GoUSA TV reach to 250 million viewers in 80 countries.
1. CTO Appointment and Technology Strategy
NextTrip has named Brad Buice as Chief Technology Officer, leveraging his more than 30 years of global travel platform experience at Trisept Solutions, Apple Leisure Group and Hyatt. Buice will lead the scaling of the NXT2.0 booking engine and integration of Agentic AI capabilities into the JOURNY platform, aiming to enhance digital transformation, streamline advisor workflows and accelerate content-to-commerce transactions.
2. Expansion of Global Media Sales Force
In tandem with the CTO hire, NextTrip recruited four seasoned media advertising sales executives with deep industry relationships. These additions are tasked with driving monetization of FAST streaming assets and integrating the recently acquired GoUSA TV content, strengthening the company’s ability to sell advertising across a diverse portfolio of travel and lifestyle channels.
3. Broadening Audience Reach and Revenue Prospects
With its consolidated FAST platform and GoUSA TV distribution, NextTrip expects to reach approximately 250 million Connected TV, mobile and online viewers across 80 countries in 2026. This expanded footprint is designed to amplify advertising inventory, attract premium travel advertisers and support the company’s media-to-commerce business model by converting audience engagement directly into booking revenue.
