Niagen Bioscience names Abhijit Kale senior director of global external research

Niagen Bioscience named Abhijit Kale as senior director of global external research, effective July 20, 2026.

Kale will run the Niagen Research Program, steering external academic and clinical collaborations and shaping research strategy in NAD+ biology.

He was most recently a scientific review officer at Hevolution Foundation, where he reviewed more than 600 proposals tied to a $1 billion longevity portfolio.

Earlier roles included leadership posts at Buck Institute for Research on Aging, Deciduous Therapeutics and LevitasBio.

The program supports more than 175 active or developing studies, with more than 45 peer-reviewed published clinical studies on Niagen.
