Nio Orders Outpace Tesla in China; Needs Up to 47,939 June Deliveries
NIO•Nio recorded 14,500 new orders in the week of June 15–21 and 34,000 over two weeks, surpassing Tesla’s 12,600 and 25,700, while its May deliveries reached a 2026 high of 37,705 units. The company needs 42,939 to 47,939 June deliveries to hit its Q2 target of 110,000–115,000 vehicles.

Nio logged 14,500 new orders in the week of June 15–21 and 34,000 over two weeks, surpassing Tesla’s 12,600 and 25,700 respectively, marking a 195% year-over-year weekly increase from 4,900 orders.
2. June Delivery Target to Meet Q2 Guidance
To reach its Q2 guidance of 110,000–115,000 vehicles, Nio must deliver between 42,939 and 47,939 units in June, representing a 14% to 27% sequential increase from May’s 37,705 deliveries.
3. May Deliveries Hit 2026 High, Model Lineup Expansion
Nio delivered a record 37,705 vehicles in May, led by its third-generation ES8, while deliveries of the ES9 flagship SUV began June 1, broadening the company’s pure-electric lineup.
