Nio recorded 14,500 new orders in the week ending June 21 and 34,000 over the two-week period, while Tesla saw 12,600 and 25,700 respectively. Nio's weekly orders rose 195% year-over-year from 4,900, outpacing its rival's 5% two-week improvement.
2. Q2 Delivery Target Requires Surge
After delivering 37,705 vehicles in May, Nio must achieve 42,939 to 47,939 June deliveries to meet its 110,000–115,000 Q2 guidance, implying a sequential jump of 14%–27%. Failure to reach this range could risk missing full-quarter volume estimates.
3. ES9 Rollout and Future Outlook
The ES9 flagship SUV began deliveries on June 1, adding to a lineup headed by the third-generation ES8. CEO William Li forecasts pure-electric models will account for over 90% of China's new-energy vehicle market by 2030.
