The new WorldModel upgrade went live for over 700,000 users as ES9 set a 10,000-unit, 30-day delivery record in the premium segment.

NIO delivered 40,597 vehicles in June 2026, a 62.9% increase year-over-year, and 107,658 vehicles in Q2 2026, up 49.4%, boosting cumulative deliveries to 1,188,715 units as of June 30, 2026.
2. WorldModel Upgrade Accelerates Intelligent Driving
On June 18, NIO rolled out the latest WorldModel upgrade to over 700,000 users simultaneously, achieving industry-first parallel releases across general-purpose and in-house chip platforms. The upgrade features a three-layer framework of world modeling, supervised fine-tuning, and closed-loop reinforcement learning to enhance adaptability, human-like behavior and safety-efficiency balance.
3. ES8 Cumulative Deliveries and Five-Seat Launch
The All-New ES8 model reached cumulative deliveries of 120,000 units as of June 22, strengthening NIO’s position in China’s premium SUV segment above RMB400,000. Its five-seat version arrived at showrooms and opened presales on June 28, targeting further growth in the premium five-seat SUV market.
4. ES9 Sets 10,000-Unit Delivery Record
The ES9 achieved 10,000 cumulative deliveries within 30 days of its May 28 launch, setting a new delivery record among premium battery electric vehicles priced above RMB500,000 in China. This rapid uptake underscores strong demand for NIO’s flagship premium model.
