5G partnership expanded for AI-native network upgrades

Nokia signed a 5G expansion agreement with Taiwan Mobile to modernize its network toward AI-native operations across Taiwan.

The deal covers deployment of Nokia AirScale baseband and radios, paired with AI-driven software to lift capacity, automation, resilience and energy efficiency.

The upgrades target new 5G services and monetization, including support for network slicing and RedCap.
