North Sea crude: Vitol bidding spree continues, but no deals made
USO•Vitol bid for several North Sea crude grades on Monday, but no deals were struck.
1. Bids across crude grades
Vitol bid for Brent/Ninian, Forties, Troll and WTI Midland cargoes for October dates at premiums of $22.00 to $24.45 per barrel over dated Brent on a CIF Rotterdam basis; the bids equated to FOB premiums of about $18.55 to $21.28. It also bid for Oseberg and Ekofisk cargoes at dated Brent plus $21.55 and $20.95, respectively, while BP offered an October 20-22 Johan Sverdrup cargo at dated Brent plus $11.00.
