Northern Trust to redeem Series D preferred depositary shares at USD 1,000 each on Oct. 1, 2026

Northern Trust will redeem all 5,000 shares of its Series D Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock on Oct. 1, 2026.

• The redemption includes 500,000 depositary shares, each representing 1/100th of a Series D preferred share.
• Depositary shares will be redeemed at USD 1,000 per share; the payment excludes a USD 23 quarterly dividend.
• The USD 23 dividend will be paid on Oct. 1, 2026 to holders of record as of Sept. 15, 2026.
• No further dividends will be declared or paid on the Series D preferred stock following the redemption date.
