The option covers an exclusive license in aerospace and defense, along with a non-exclusive right to associated know-how, initiating negotiations for a definitive licensing pact.

The patented system enables a drone to carry cable-suspended payloads through water while maintaining flight above the surface, leveraging buoyancy to reduce energy consumption and boost payload efficiency. Key use cases include coastal, riverine, and flood-prone logistics, as well as sensor and equipment deployment in complex environments.

During the option period, NorthStrive must develop a commercialization plan and secure financing to advance the technology. Upon exercising the option, the company will negotiate a definitive license agreement to obtain full development and deployment rights, though successful execution is not guaranteed.
