Northwest Bio narrows Q2 net loss to $9.2 million from year-ago period

First-half performance
For the first half, net loss narrowed to $12.3 million from $34.7 million, helped by a $9.4 million non-cash derivatives gain.
Second-quarter results
Northwest Biotherapeutics posted a second-quarter net loss of $9.2 million, narrowing from a $15.4 million loss a year earlier.
- R&D expense fell 22.97% to $5.7 million, due to lower MHRA MAA-review costs and reduced stock-based compensation to consultants.
- G&A expense declined 10.67% to $6.7 million, on lower legal costs.
