NOV installs iNOVaTHERM drilling waste treatment unit at Guyana quayside facility
NOV•Local workforce
Operations are run by a 100% Guyanese national workforce, supporting local hiring as the project scales.
Guyana waste treatment capacity expanded
NOV expanded drilling waste management capacity in Guyana with the early-2026 installation of its iNOVaTHERM thermal treatment unit at an onshore quayside facility.
Onshore processing and higher throughput
The unit was commissioned in April, shifting more waste processing onshore and reducing cross-border shipments to Trinidad that took about three days per load.
Facility throughput is about 100 metric tons per day, up 2-4x versus legacy equipment, with more than 99% base oil recovery.
