NovaRed Secures 2,063-Hectare Plume Tenure for 2026 Geophysical Survey

HBMHBM

NovaRed Mining registered its 2,062.64-hectare Plume tenure on March 17, 2026, fulfilling its amended option agreement to earn a 70% interest in the Wilmac and Lamont Ridge areas. The tenure secures two iron carbonate-silica alteration zones and a 29.53 line-km IP/AMT survey is authorized for the 2026 field season.

1. Plume Tenure Registration

On March 17, 2026, NovaRed Mining completed registration of the 2,062.64-hectare Plume mineral tenure in British Columbia, finalizing the land position outlined in its October 2025 amended option agreement. This step secures NovaRed’s rights to earn a 70% interest in the Wilmac and Lamont Ridge areas of the Quesnel porphyry belt.

2. Authorized 2026 Geophysical Program

The Plume tenure covers two extensively iron carbonate-silica altered zones identified as high-priority targets. A combined 3D Induced Polarization/Audio Frequency Magnetotelluric survey totalling 29.53 line-kilometres over nine east-west lines (covering 539 hectares) has received No-Permit-Required authorization for the 2026 field season.

3. Wilmac Project Context

The Wilmac copper-gold project comprises 11,504 hectares of mineral tenures in south-central British Columbia, approximately 10 kilometres west of a producing copper-gold mine. The project sits within a prolific porphyry belt and is interpreted to host alkalic porphyry occurrences analogous to nearby deposits.
