Novocure investigates unauthorized access to some information systems

Novocure said the exposed data included internal patient ID numbers for more than 1,400 U.S. records, as well as some patient data for fewer than 50 patients.

The company said no access to medical treatment devices was identified, operations were not compromised, and systems remain fully functional.

Novocure said the incident is not expected to be material to its financial condition or results, pending additional findings.

Novocure said it launched an internal investigation into unauthorized access to some information systems detected in mid-August 2026.

The company said independent cybersecurity forensic experts have been engaged to support the probe, including a review of exposed data.
