1. Distribution and debt
Natural Resource Partners increased its third-quarter 2026 distribution to $32 million, or $2.34 per unit. Its remaining $14 million of debt is scheduled for repayment in December 2026, after which capital allocation priorities are shifting toward unitholder distributions.
2. Market conditions
Distributions from Sisecam Wyoming have been suspended since the second quarter of 2025, with resumption dependent on recovering demand or cuts to high-cost production. Global soda ash prices have fallen more than 60% from 2023 highs, and market rebalancing is likely to take several years. Coal prices are down more than 50% from 2022 highs, with no near-term recovery expected amid soft steel demand and low natural gas prices.
