Special shareholder meeting set for Sept. 29

NSTS Bancorp will hold a special shareholder meeting in Waukegan, Illinois, on Sept. 29, 2026.

Shareholders will vote on the merger agreement with Brookfield Bancshares, an all-cash deal implying about USD 14.28 per share.

A separate proposal seeks approval to adjourn or postpone the meeting if needed to solicit additional votes for the merger.
