NTT and SAP plan sovereign cloud collaboration for regulated industries
SAP•NTT and SAP announced plans to cooperate on sovereign cloud services and business AI for regulated industries, combining SAP Sovereign Cloud On-Site with NTT-managed infrastructure and operations in key markets.
1. Planned cloud collaboration
The companies said the initial collaboration would combine SAP Sovereign Cloud On-Site with NTT-managed infrastructure and operations. Customers could run SAP-managed cloud solutions in their own or selected data centers while retaining local control over sensitive data and operations.
2. Sovereign AI plans
NTT and SAP also plan to explore secure, sovereign AI adoption for governments, critical infrastructure operators and highly regulated industries.
