Nubank and Mercado Pago halted some cryptocurrency transfers after disruptions involving external service providers, the companies said in separate statements. Nubank cited instability from an external data provider; Mercado Pago said an incident affected a provider of risk monitoring and anti-money laundering services.

Mercado Pago blocked some transfers to external wallets and said deposits could also face delays. Both companies said client funds remain secure and other crypto products continue to operate as usual. Neither identified the provider involved, and it was unclear whether both companies were affected by the same provider.
