Nuclear-linked stocks rally after Google's deal with Constellation Energy
CEG•Constellation Energy shares rose more than 13% after Alphabet agreed to buy 3,590 megawatts of power from the company, with new nuclear energy accounting for about a quarter of the supply.
1. Stocks rise on deal
Shares of U.S. nuclear and utility companies rose after Alphabet agreed to a multiyear power deal with Constellation Energy. NuScale Power rose 7%, Vistra gained 10% and Talen Energy climbed 13%.
