Nutanix expands Supermicro partnership to develop private AI inference system
SMCI•Nutanix and Supermicro are expanding their collaboration to develop a private AI inference system, with availability planned for early 2027. The system will use Supermicro servers with eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs per node.
1. Joint system development
Nutanix and Supermicro are expanding their collaboration to develop a jointly engineered infrastructure system for private AI inference. The system aims to lower inference costs per token and simplify deployment and scaling of on-premises GPU infrastructure.
2. Planned configuration
Supermicro servers will combine Agentic AI software with NVIDIA GPUs, including eight Blackwell Ultra GPUs per node. Availability is planned for early 2027 through Supermicro and its channel partners.
