Nutanix plans 5% global workforce cut, expects $33 million-$43 million in charges

Nutanix plans a corporate reorganization that will cut its global workforce by about 5%.

The move is intended to create a more streamlined structure, improve operating efficiency, speed execution and shift resources toward strategic priorities.

Substantial completion is expected by the end of October 2026, subject to local consultation and works council processes.

The company estimates pre-tax charges of $33 million to $43 million, mainly for one-time severance and termination benefits. Most of the charges are expected to be paid in cash, although final costs could differ materially from current estimates.
