1. Facility and guidance
Nutrien said it will shut its White Springs phosphate facility in the second quarter of 2027, expecting higher adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow. Management retained its Aurora and integrated upgrade facilities, saying nonbinding bids did not reflect their long-term value. The company revised full-year retail adjusted EBITDA guidance to $1.72 billion–$1.85 billion, citing weaker third-quarter earnings.
2. Potash outlook
Nutrien forecast global potash shipments of 75 million–79 million tonnes in 2027. Management said the company could increase production if supply tightens.
