Nuwellis Aquadex study shows 87% survival during treatment in pediatric patients
NUWE•Nuwellis announced results from a multicenter study involving 91 pediatric patients at seven hospitals, with 87% surviving during treatment using its Aquadex SmartFlow system. The findings support efforts to expand FDA-cleared labeling to patients weighing at least 5 kg from 20 kg or more.

The ULTRA-Peds study evaluated the Aquadex SmartFlow system in 91 pediatric patients across seven hospitals. Nuwellis said most patients survived treatment and most procedures were completed without interruption; the findings support efforts to expand FDA-cleared labeling to patients weighing at least 5 kg.
